Ministry Classification
The Ministry of Magic classifies every known magical creature on a scale from X to XXXXX. The classification is as following.

X: boring
XX: harmless / may be domesticated
XXX: Competent wizards should cope
XXXX: Dangerous / requires specialist knowledge / skilled wizard may handle / must be respected
XXXXX: Known wizard killer / impossible to train or domesticate

Magical creatures you will face in this course will have the classification X or XX. With more dangerous creatures you will have to deal if you take the advanced course, because this creatures need more skill and experience to handle.

The classification is given by the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. Only creatures known to them and classified as `animal`are included.
