The flobberworm is a toothless, brown worm which is around 10 inches long. For untrained people it is difficult to spot which end is the head, but the studied person will see immediately. Flobberworms are vegetarians, they eat mostly lettuce, if they can get it. So they are feared by wizard gardeners. The flobberworm has no real magic powers, it is not dangerous either. The muscus it exudes is sometimes used to thicken potions. Flobberworms live in damp ditches. They have not much intelligence, if left with too much food, they will eat until they die. Most time of their life flobberworms spend eating, apart from this, they don't seem to have a social life, they prefer to be left alone. Flobberworms are easy to keep, they just need a damp place, if left in the sun they will dry out, and some food. According to some sources, flobberworm muscus is one of the important ingredients to create a `Wiggenweld-potion` which will restore the strength of the drinker.
